The Coonty o Dibër (Albanie: Qarku i Dibrës) is ane o the 12 coonties o Albanie. It consists o the destricts Bulqizë, Dibër, an Mat an its caipital is Peshkopi.
Dibër is kent for its resistance against the Turks. Historical Dibër includit pairts o Albanie an Macedonie. This diveesion is a result o a claim bi the umwhile Yugoslavie on wha is nou the Macedonie hauf o Dibër in a 1913 internaitional conference in Lunnon, an the creation o modren state o Albanie bi wastren pouers.
Dibër haes been the battlefield o Turkis an ither Balkan wars for centuries. Its river, Drini i Zi (Albanie: Black River), wis colored red wi blood several times, which is a possible etymology for the name. Dibër haes several interestin places tae visit, such as the seiven lakes o Lura an the Drin valley. It is the location o the toun o Kastriot, traditionally thocht tae be the birthplace o the Albanie naitional hero Skanderbeg.
Dibër's eastren border is wi the Republic o Macedonie. Domestically, it borders the follaein coonties:
